Hi, I've recently bought a new router but my wifi card in my laptop doesn't support 5GHz so I wanted to replace it... My laptop is an Acer Aspire e1-522-5603 I've already taken a look at my computer internals but there is are 2 cables connecting from the motherboard to the keyboard and I cant screw out the wifi card without possibly ripping both of those cables apart. What should I do?

Solution
You should be able to remove those cables and the keyboard. There will be a small bar to lift up or slide over that is a pressure connector that keeps the cables in.
