how can i retrieve my contacts from a lost htc phone

My htc phone was stolen along with my sim. I tried retrieving it but was unable. I'm currently using samsung now. Just wanna know if i can stil get my contacts back.

Only if you sync with an online account, if you didn't, no.

Did your older text message go through when you activated your new phone? You can use those and just match up the phone numbers in the message with who the conversation was with, assuming you can remember that.
