Question How can I upgrade my alcatel onetouch android 5.1 to a higher version after upgrade is no longer supported?

My alcatel onetouch Android 5.1 no longer can install a wifi camera app since the upgraded app requires a higher Android version. But there is no higher version for this model. I have heard that it may be possible to upgrade the Android version. If so would appreciate instructions on how to do it. Thank you
