The Marantz has multi-channel output where is says "pre-out". The Sony has multi-channel (only 5.1) input right under the RS232 port. You just need some RCA cables to hook the two together.

I have no idea how a video format has anything to do with this. I don't know what master audio is. I believe volume will be controlled by the Marantz, but you will have to test.
I am not sure what you will gain by using the amp in the Sony.
The Marantz is better sounding and has higher quality amplifiers than the Sony. The Marantz amps are more accurately power rated and are stable with lower impedance speakers.
