How do I activate the discrete GPU (in a laptop) ???

Hey there, last year all my 5 uncles and aunts bought me a new laptop, unfortunately they didn't know I am in PC gaming, so the laptop came equiped with a crappy AMD Radeon R5 M330 2GB as a GPU.

When I try to run some games, they shows me that the "GPU" that's in use are the HD Integrated graphics. So i thought that it would be better to use the crappy GPU in my laptop rather than the HD graphics .... BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACTIVATE IT !!!!!!!
Do I need to download an AMD software ??

It should switch automatically. However make sure Windows is set to high performance and not power save or balanced. You may also need the laptop to be plugged in.

How are you reviewing which GPU is being used? Are all your drivers up to date?

2. Uninstall Intel HD 4000 drivers.

I don't have 4000 HD drivers, i have 5500 HD drivers, is it the same thing ?? (obviously it changes the generation of drivers, but does it changes something else ??)
