How do I change input device on older Samsung TV and DISH Internet

I have DISH Internet. I also have ATT fixed wireless internet. I bought a Roku Streaming stick. Inserted it in the HDMI slot and I have the blinking light. Other end inserted in USB slot. How do I change the input device to TV for my Roku start up page to come up? According to DISH their remote is not useable with Roku.

You need to change the input on the TV not operate the Roku. The Dish remote won't have that function (usually just TV power and volume) so you will need the original TV remote, or a Logitech Harmony universal remote, or you may have controls on the TV itself.

Thank you americanaudiophile. Once I find the TV remote, will there be an input button? Also, once I change it how will I get back to the DISH internet?
