How do I connect a TV with only HDMI to a computer with only VGA or DVI-I to stream Netflix?

Can I connect a TV with only HDMI to a computer with only VGA or DVI-I to stream Netflix? If so, what cables or adapters do I need to get audio and video on the TV?

If your TV has COMPONENT connection, buy a DVI to Component Adapter.

If no Component, buy a DVI to HDMI adapter (that's for video only), then a separate audio connection from computer to Receiver, or external speakers, will not be able to use the TV speakers this way.

Thanks! I think we're just going to upgrade the computer with a new HDMI video card...seems like the quickest and cheapest fix.
