Solved! how do I connect my AirPods to my Panasonic tv?

I need to be able to listen to the TV without disturbing others in the room. I cannot connect the AirPods...and maybe they cannot be connected!! Any help here please?

if your TV has bluetooth, you should be able to pair it like any other bluetooth device

If your TV does not have bluetooth, you may need an adapter like this, depending if your TV has analog audio outputs or not - if you want to use your TV's optical output one like this would work well.
