Solved! how do I connect my hisense tv wirelessly to my pc

I have a hisense 55r6e smart tv that I just bought and I would like to be able to use it as a pc monitor also. I just added a bluetooth usb to my pc to try and conncet the two . Neither pc nor tv find each other when scanning for connections. is there a way to manually force either one using ip addresses maybe? I don't know. thank you.

Bluetooth cant be used like this due to the limited bandwidth. As far as wireless I think there is a way via wifi using a wireless adapter. Here is one method, but if you google PC to TV wireless there are more then a few articles on it.

You can't do a "monitor" over bluetooth like that.
