How do I connect my time warner cable box to blue ray player and smart tv?

I have a Sony Blue Ray player, a Time Warner (Scientific Atlanta) cable box and an LG Smart TV. Where does the cable line hook to, Blue Ray player or cable box and then where from there?

Generally you would hook the line from the wall to the cable box. The cable box and the blue ray player would hook to the TV via HDMI cables for best quality.
