How do i disable core parking with intel core i7

Hello, I am having problems with flash based apps like evony causing major lag on my computer. I have windows 7 64bit, intel core I7 720qm processor, ati mobility radeon 5870 graphics card, 8GB ram, dual 320GB 5400RPM drives. I think it is the core parking that is causing the lag because it happens after a few seconds of inactivity. If I restart the computer it is fine until i am inactive for a few seconds. I love the computer. and this doesn't seem like a defect. Sould I edit the registry to disable core parking?
