How do i get acer aspire camera to work?

its an aspire 3680, never tried to use the camera before but now have skype and want to use camera. am on windows xp. acer was 2nd hand and had 7 on it origonally i think, could it be because its on xp that camera doesnt work?

Have you check acer website for software for the cam. My Acer came with software for the cam. I would also check the device manager and see if you have a driver for the cam.
