how do i get my blaupunkt tv to play through my samsung surround sound system

I just bought a brand new 40 inch blaupunkt led telly and have a samsung dvd home thearta system and cant get my normall tv programs to play through the aux which worked with my sumsung tv but not this one any one know how to get my telly to achieve this action???

Have you connected the headphone out of the TV to the aux connection of the HTiB?
