Solved! How do i get my core 2 duo CPU T5550 back

Hello,
had to have new harddrive installed best buy loaded win7, never reinstalled vista64 home premium, they refused to install it have asus g1sn x1 not core 2 duo CPU t5550 does not show up. display is dull looking now. what can i do that does not take any more money to fix it. test is so small as to be unreadable. I am a novice with laptops.

well it sounds like they installed a bone stock copy of windows 7 and possibly didn't install all the proper drivers.

First: you can get drivers for your laptop here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

After you get any drivers, most notably display drivers, downloaded and installed you should be able to get the rest of the things fixed.

As for the text being super tiny and unable to read it, for the time being you can change the display resolution to be larger (800x600 perhaps) so that you can read the text or you can change the text size in the display options to large or extra large fonts.
