How do I get rid of the x on my battery icon

There's a red X on my battery icon when I plugged my Samsung tablet in. It's done this once before but it stopped after we got a new charger. The charger has been fine ever since. Can someone help me get this X off of the battery icon?

It will show that if either the charger is a problem, or the battery is. So you will have to figure out which one is in need of replacing.
