How do I hook this up?

I have a Dolby digital DVD player and a sanyo HD TV I also have a semi white cord with 3 plugins on each end the 3 colors are red green and blue I cannot use an HDMI and I can't figure out how to hook it up!!

What video out available on the DVD player, and what video in on the sanyo?
If HDMI on both, then you can use an HDMI cable.

The red green blue RCA connections are component video. There should also be two more for audio.
If your TV only has HDMI then you will need an active converter (a cable won't work)
