Hello,
i have an old computer that runs windows xp and i can connect with a wireless, but i cant go online, it keeps giving me a LAN unplugged message and i dont know how to resoolve this

Solution
your LAN is basically your wired connection, if you're connecting via wireless, LAN has nothing to do with your ability to connect to internet/network.

you want to go to start > run > type in: cmd /k ipconfig /all

in the window that pops up you want to make sure that your wireless adapter has a defined network mask address, if it doesn't, it means it's not connecting to your wireless
