how do i program my toshiba dvd to play on my time warner connected box

my Toshiba dvd is hooked to my tv I have a twc box I have tried several things and I still cannot play dvd what channel do I use

Most newer DVD/Bluray players connect to your HDTVs via a HDMI cable and port. Instead of looking for what channel to use, you need to change your input port to the one your player is attached to (i.e., HDMI1, HDMI2, etc).
