how do I remove battery off acer 5733aspirelaptop

I cannot remove battery from back of laptop.
please help.
Also, the keyboard is locked for some reason. Please let me know how to unlock it. Thanks

If it is like most Acers there are two sliders on the bottom. On my Acer the one perpendicular to the space bar is the lock and the one parallel to the space bar is the eject.
