Solved! How do I retrieve pics off a old deactivated phone to my current phone?

I have a Samsung galaxy which is my current phone and I recently found an old phone I once used with pictures on it that I would like to have on my new phone. Any idea how i can do that?

Plug it into a computer, copy the files out to that. Connect the old phone to Wifi, sync the pictures to cloud storage.
