how do i set up my TV,Fetch Box and surround sound system

I have a LG-42LG30D TV, the fetch box from optus and a JVC 5.1 channel DVD Home Theatre TH-N767BA, I have no idea how to set them up together and what I have to change in there settings to make this happen, I have HDMI cord and a fiber optics cable to do this with and help would be greatly appreciated

Fetch box connects to TV with the HDMI cable.
The TV optical audio output connects to the HTS with the optical audio cable.
You may have to turn the optical output on and turn the TV speakers off in the TV menu to get that working. Check the TV manual.
Select the optical input on the HTS and set it to Dolby for TV audio playback.
You will also want to connect the HTS to the TV for DVD playback with another cable (use HDMI if the JVC has that).
