How do i split a movie in half to fit on cd's?

actually its a concert. 850mb. how can i split it in two so i can fit it on two cd's? i know certain programs allow you to split files up for email, but would winace or winzip do this?

to split a movie you can use vstrip. it will give you two files of the size you choose.

you can use windows movie maker 2. they have a split features in it

one problem: wmv is the only format to save.
