How do I switch between audio output?

Hi, so I just recently built a new PC and I am using my 2.1 speakers and my gaming headsets for audio on my PC. Thing is when I plug in my gaming headsets into the PC I can't switch back to my speakers unless I unplug it. I have Trittons 720's and it uses and optical cord and a USB plug to work. Is there a way to switch between my headsets and speakers without having to physically unplug it?

On Windows 7, if I want to switch between using earphones or my GPU sound, I right click on the speaker icon on the task bar (right hand side), press playback devices, find the device (in my case it says amp, speakers) and right click on it and press "Set as default device".
