How do i upgrade my alcatel one touch 9007t from android 5.1.1 to at least android 6.0.0 without having a cellular provider

I have an Alcatel One touch pixi 9007t that is running 5.1.1 and has no cellular service so i only use it on WiFi. Is there any way to update the os or am i sol?

How you get your access to the internet makes no real different for updates. If there is an update, you would see it in the "Settings" on the device. If one isn't listed there or doesn't show there, then there isn't one for that device.

The only way, then, that you could use a newer OS would be to root the device. I am not an advocate of that as it is very risky.
