How do you record channel using vcr with comcast service

Hello,
I have a RCA VCR model # VR321. I'm trying to determine how to use RCA VCR Remote to record channel on TV with comcast service...can't figure out steps to program remote to record specific cahnnel.

I have changed VCR to channel 3 and know that TV and VCR must be on same channel when recording just can't figure sequence on remote to record...can you help me?
