How good would this laptop be for gaming?

Is he a good investment for the price, or is there something better out there for around the same cost? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Gtx1070 is a powerfull gpu and that 120hz display could be useful for gaming. It has a really good cooling system and it also has a good sound system.

Given the 120hz display and the 1070 in there, I think this is a solid price - you'd be hard-pressed to find many as well-equipped much less expensively without it being an open box/refurbished.

Here's the problem . It's 8 pounds. Are you really going to carry that thing around with you wherever you go?

If you want a laptop with same performance but much lighter and smaller go with this.

It's actually just going to be a backup to my PC/extra computer for when friends come over. I don't travel at all.

Space issues. I don't want another fixed pc that needs a desk, etc. I suppose the mobility is a smaller part as to why I want it.
