I'm using Nero to burn audio CDs but it won't let me write the CD with the disc-at-once option because my audio files are not wav. format. How would I go about converting my mp3 files to wav. files? Would greatly apprecciate the help.

Thanks,

Go to http://www.download.com and search up "MP3 to WAV".

Shuffler Music Converter is a free download which will convert .mp3 to .wav (and vice versa).

DbPowerAmp is, I think, its successor. Don't know if there's a free version though.

I know that Nero can do it on the fly too, but I can't remembered if it offered disc-at-once. Guess that's what he's aiming for.

Firstly, thanks for the help. Yeah, Nero won't allow disc-at-once burning if the audio file is a mp3 file. Normally I wouldn't care but the album that I downloaded consists of songs that roll right into the next and how annoying is it when the tracks are interrupted with a 2 second pause? I ended up downloading an mp3 to wav converter. Success.

You can edit the 2 second pause. It's required for the first track, but all subsequent you can shut it off.

That's really screwy about the mp3 not allowing disk at once. I'd have thought it could be converting the next track while it's burning one. But at 16x, you'd have to have a smoking processor. You might see if it lets you at 8x, or 4x.

Any good audio editor will convert mp3 to wav. Or you can check shareware/freeware at http://www.download.com.
