Solved! How is it that my spouse and I play candy crush saga and end up with the exact same scores on every level?

We both play candy crush saga one on iPhone the other on iPad each level we both have the same score. Why is this?

Are they connected to the same account? I'm assuming it is just showing a shared high score.
