How long do you think will a gp62 6qe MSI last? From a technology and durability point of view.

Intel Core i7 6700HQ.
NVIDIA GTX 950M 2GB DDR5
RAM 4GB DDR4, up to 32GB.
HDD 1000GB. SSD M.2 Raid0.

It's price is around US$1000.

Medium gaming and civil engineering needs.

For non gaming tasks, quite a LONG time (like 4-5 years). But for gaming, 2 maybe 3 year (if you continuously buy new games every year).

For non-gaming, it will last a very long time, but for gaming it is better to get the 970m or higher. 950/960m utilizes the older version of the Maxwell architecture whereas 970m and above are the newer Maxwell 2 and Pascal (1060m/1080m) versions with significant performance improvements. I just bought the GE72 yesterday and waiting for its arrival.
