How long will the gtx 950m last?

I'm thinking of buying a laptop and the gtx 950m fits into my price range and i already know that the 960m isn't much more expensive but i just wanted to know.

What do you mean by how long it will last? As in "not break"? No way to know, some laptops fail in days, some are fine after 5 years.

If you mean "how long can I play games on good settings on it", that depends on the game. For newer demanding games, it's already a bit slow for past low settings at good FPS. It will run games for years, just not very well.

Depends on how high your expectations are. Meaning how low the graphic settings, resolution and performance is acceptable for you.

If the laptop with the GTX 960m is not much more expensive, then I recommend buying that laptop. Because once you determine the laptop with GTx 950m is no longer good enough for you, then you need to purchase a new laptop.

Most gamers consider the GTX 960m to be the minimum "gaming GPU".
