I have an Asus ROG G55vw the specs are:
Intel i7 3610QM Processor clocked at 2.5 ghz I believe not around at the moment
Windows 7 64-bit
16gb SDRAM 1600mhz
15.6" FHD EWV LED Backlight Display
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660m 2gb gddr5
500GB 7200RPM harddrive
Super-Multi DVD Drive
3 -in-1 card reader
HD Web Camera
Integrated 802.11 b/g/n
Built-in Bluetooth V4.0
Got the specs from here:
http://www.asus.com/us/ROG_ROG/G55VW/specifications/

The battery I think is bad, not having the charger and also some of the function keys dont work so u will have to take it to the shop for that so you cant turn the backlight on the keyboard on right now I know this lowers the price a bit but other that everything works good.

So if someone knows can they tell me how much it would be worth, I looked on Ebay and it goes from $540 - $1699 dollars. I am hoping to buy another gaming laptop from selling this or a custom built computer.

Thanks,

Its hard to gauge the value of a pre-owned Laptop without getting hands on with it really. However, if we look at what people can buy new at the moment it can give you an idea.

Your hardware roughly translates as:
CPU: i7-3610QM = i7-4710MQ
GPU: 660m = 850m

If we look at new laptops with those specs, your looking at spending approximately $900 (taking an Asus N550jk as an example)

So we can therefore deduce it would be unreasonable to expect any more than $800 if your laptop was in perfect condition with all accessories. Anyone charging over $800 for this laptop is being ridiculous, as you can actually buy versions of this model that have been refurbished by ASUS, and therefore are basically new, for only $840.

I think a reasonable estimate puts your Laptop (which is 2 generations old and with a bad battery and no charger) at around $500-$700.

Hope this helped,

With a bad battery, no charger, and keys that don't work I wouldn't expect more than $500 max. If it was in good working order and had everything included, then you may get $600. Used computer hardware usually will only get you about 60% AT most of what you paid for it new, unless you just bought it and the tech is the newest. A lot of the time when I sell used parts I even let it go for 40% of what the part is retailing new for at the time.

I see the OP was edited as I was writing my response;

With the knowledge that some of the keys do not function added to the bad battery and lack of charger, I'd bring my estimate down to $450 - $650.

Only expect to get anywhere near the top end of that bracket if the laptop is in good general condition (i.e. no scratches, marks etc) and is still in some sort of warranty, otherwise the lower end is more likely.
