My Laptop is a Samsung RC530 released in 2011.It has an Intel Core i5 2410M @ 2.30GHz, Nvidia GT 540M 2GB, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 1366x768 15.6" Screen,
Optical Drive, Windows 7, 1TB HDD(Originally 500GB but upgraded to 1TB), Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI, D-SUB, Headphone and Mic ports, has a Webcam,
and has 4 USB 2.0 ports. It has a battery but can only hold a charge about an hour.
Price was around 1200$.
How much would this be in 2016?

Unfortunately, yes because they typically cannot be upgraded. If you look around, you can probably find a new tablet for around that price range and almost just as capable as your old laptop.
