How much RAM is needed with Intel i5 4210M for smooth performance?

My laptop configuration:
CPU: Intel i5 4210M
RAM: 4GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600MHz
HDD: 1TB (cache 8MB, 5400RPM, SATA 6.0Gb/s)

My question:
How much RAM is needed to smoothly run (simultaneously) Android Studio + Android Emulator + Google Chrome / Firefox with multiple opened tabs + some other minor development tools SIMULTANEOUSLY. ???

8GB should be fine but ideally you'd want 16. I don't think you'd run into any issues with 8 if you're trying to save money though.

You can add up the ram usage of each one individually app now if you don't have enough ram. I'm thinking you would only need 8gb.
