Solved! How to connect AirPods to my TV (Sony 55x8505c) or sound bar (HT-CT780)

I tried to connect my AirPods to my tv or sound bar without success. If someone know the process I’ll be happy to be helped

Same way as connecting them to any bluetooth device, does your soundbar or TV had bluetooth capability to connect headphones to? A bluetooth soundbar is most often for connection to the soundbar not from it.

Very simple. AirPods operate via bluetooth. BT works as a transmitter -- Receiver pair. The AirPod is a BT RECEIVER, so u need BT transmitter on the other end. I bet Soundbar does not have a BT transmitter, and TV I dunno, u look up the manual see what it says. U can, in certain cases, availability of audio outputs, add an external BT transmitter to just about anything.
