I have a HT-e350 Samsung Home theater and a LG 50LF600 but I can not get the tv channels to play through my home theater what do I need? My home system has ARC hdmi which I purchased a cord yesterday but my tv only has optical output and regular hdmi please help

Guys I have a HT-e350 home theater with only a HDMI arc out and a tv with 2 standard HDMI ports and a optical out how do I connect to hear live tv

Connect the video source for the HDTV (either cable/satellite set top box or antenna) to the video input of the Home Theater system. Use the HDMI output of the Home Theater system and connect that to one of the HDMI inputs of the HDTV. You should get audio through the Home Theater system.
