Solved! How to convert my vlc program into a playable windows program

How do I get my episodes ( that is only in VLC format) to play on my windows media player. It says that it does not support the file .

I don't think there is such a thing as "VLC format".

I'll assume you're on Win10. Right-Click on one of the episode files and select 'properties'. What does it say about 'Type of file' and 'Size on disk?

There is no specific VLC format. VLC just happens to support way more codecs than Windows media player. You can try downloading K-lite codec package and see if your videos will play in WMP then.

You can also try to hold the shift and then right click on the file and choose "open with" then select windows media player

I have never heard of VLC as a format either. Are you sure they weren't misnamed?
