Hi, I have Windows 8.1 Pro x64 installed on my 256 GB Samsung Pro SSD and I have some applications installed on the SSD and some games installed in the other HDD.
Now everything is set but if something goes down and I have to format my PC , I would have to install all these applications again one by one. So, is there any way I can make a backup of the entire OS with applications and games so that I can restore it after installing the OS ?
If its possible , can anyone tell how to backup and restore in step by step ?
Searched a lot but confused with all the results , hence asking.

Thanks for your time :)

Some software will support full image backups which can be restored with all your apps, docs, settings etc.

I would look into Acronis True image:

if you using PC for business, yes you can use services, but for own preferences extra HHD can be handy.just backup all to that data, games but settings you cant save. you see you gonna trust to same source which can go faulty too.thats why i keep all my movies, pictures, bookmarks,on the CD/DVD,flash drive.every program usualy have own back up system so to show step by step backup we need your applications an such.
