How do I download email messages from an lg volt to a pc?

Take a look at the software included with the phone to see if there is such an option. If there isn't, your best bet is to forward the messages to yourself or another e-mail addy that you use and save the messages from there.

What I needed was a way to supply the local police department with copies of threatening text messages, including time and date stamps. Well, the local pd can't even trace phone messages from tower to tower, so, I took them printouts from the phone. Thanks. Problem solved. LG Volt disposed of.
