How to Drain the laptop of electricity without removing the battery ?

My laptop has a battery inside of it so i cant take it off , while i was playing it suddenly turned off and it wont turn on again i thought because it ran out of battery but even when i plugged it in it doesn't work . What can i do ?

You can remove it, you just need to take off the cover. Remove the battery, remove the CMOS battery if there is one on the motherboard, hold in the power button for 20 seconds. Then plug in wall power only and see if it turns on. If not, remove the RAM and drive, and see if it turns on or gives you error beeps at least about missing RAM. If it does not, that is a sign of a bad motherboard.
