Solved! How to extend HDMI output to two 1080p Monitors ?

Hi,

on my laptop,

At the moment I am using external 1080p monitor, and I want to extend it to another one, but not to duplicate the output.

so I want to get 3840x1080 resolution from this HDMI output

is this possible ?

I have seen in Amazon an HDMI splitter, but one of the replies I saw that splitter will duplicate the output, not extend it.


is there a solution to my requirement ?

Sorry. With single HDMI output that can't be done.

With Display Port connection it would be possible though.

From a single HDMI port, there is no Extend, only Mirror.
The PC sees only one device.

You can add a monitor through usb 3.0 to do exactly what you are looking for, but I'm not sure what kind of performance you will get from it:

my laptop specs:

CPU is i9-8950hk
GPU is GTX 1060

I will give it a try
