How to factory restore a toshiba satellite A105-S2001 when the zero keys doesn't work

I've tried pressing the zero key before and after the power button. I get the beeps but nothing happens after that. I want to factory reset the computer

Turn laptop off.
Press the 0 key and keep it pressed as you press the power button.
Continue to keep 0 key pressed until recovery options appear on screen.

I've tried all that it just beebs a constantly. Then restarts like normal.

can you try using an external usb wired keyboard?
