how to fix lagging while plug in

When I played games plugged in mode, it is smooth. But lag and drop fps while plug in.
I updated latest Nvidia graphic driver and other drivers. All power plan are default.
Please help me to play game smooth

Hi,

Please do try doing a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver.

- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do set Nvidia as the default GPU and change Power Options in Nvidia as well.

Your post states the same thing, "plugged in mode" and "while plug in" means the same thing. You may want to re-word your post so it's more clear as to what is happening.

Do you mean the game has lower FPS while on battery? That is normal.
