The HDD crashed on the Toshiba L500D laptop. After inserting a new HDD I can't seem to get the correct drivers installed that Windows 7 is looking for. This is my step-daughters computer and of course she didn't partition anything and didn't have a backup disk to restart windows. I had tried for a couple of days to finally get windows to respond to DVD's and memory sticks. Every download for Toshiba failed and some said that I don't have authorization. Is there a disk that I can get from Toshiba that will download the drivers without having to go onto the net as her computer can't link to the net as yet ? Of course I don't know what other problems I'll have after I'm able to install the drivers. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from ozzway2.
