Can i use a Verizon Blackberry on a network other than Verizon?

If it is network locked, then no. If it isn't, then yes.

If you want to unlock from a network, ask your phone network provider or go to a phone shop. They provide network unlock service.

verizon phones are cdma devices. you would have to go to another cdma provider. even then, you have to make sure your device would work on their network as it isn't just as easy as 1,2,3 voila!
