how to get rid of individual email in outlook 2013

In the Deleted Items in Outlook 2013, I can delete an email. After clicking on the Inbox and then back to Deleted Items, the email I deleted from there is back. How can I delete certain emails from the Deleted Items and have them remain deleted?

If you talk about deleting a message - select it, hid <Delete>

I can delete it but afterwards, it reappears as though it wasn't deleted.

Where are these messages pulled from (what is the domain)? What messaging protocol?

All I can tell you is that messages are in the Deleted Items. Not sure what you mean by the Domain or messaging protocol. It might be best for you to pull back from this, for as you can see, already this is becoming too complicated for me.

If there is someone on this forum who can answer simply my question, please do. The other choice of course is simply to put it on ignore. 🙂

My question is "are you in an environment where you are not permitted to delete emails"? Talk with your system/email administrators.

My question was, "What e-mail provider your Outlook connects to?"
is it GMail/Outlook/Yahoo/Comcast (or your local ISP), and if so, whether it is on POP3/IMAP? In that case, there is a configuration setting which says what happens with deleted emails (that is, whether they are deleted from the server as well).

Sorry about that. It's a pop3 & Outlook. I might add that no email is left on the Server in my email. Please advise as to the configuration.
