The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a fantastic phone with more power than most of us would ever need. However, not all apps play nicely with the phone and can occasionally cause problems. Boot the Galaxy S7 into safe mode
To boot the Galaxy S7 into safe mode follow these simple steps.
1. Power off the phone.
2. Press and hold the power button until the Galaxy logo appears on screen.
3. Press and hold the volume down button and release the power button.
4. Hold volume down until the phone has fully booted.
If the phone has booted into safe mode you should see a ‘Safe Mode’ prompt in the bottom left corner of the screen. While in safe mode, no third-party apps will run but the main functions of the phone should work as normal. From here you can troubleshoot apps, uninstall them, track down malware, perform antivirus scans, or do whatever it is you want to do in relative safety.

1. Power off the handset by pressing and holding the power button.
