Is Media Player the only Pgm that can play them? If so, how do I get WMP
to let me adjust the Brightness, Contrast, etc? The sliders are there,
but although you can slide them, they snap right back to the default
setting. I'm using version 10. Is there something I'm missing here?

Any player that supports DirectShow can play them - there are threads
at TiVoCommunity.com that talks about other places.

The controls seem to be codec related - people using different codecs
can tweak different settings.
