How to get your YouTube videos to stop skipping and pausing

Hello, whenever I want to watch a video, every three or four seconds, the video will randomly pause. After about fifteen of those pauses in a row, it will skip the video entirely and go to the next one. I have tried deleting the app and still nothing has worked.

You might have slow connection to YouTube servers, or slow hardware. Have you tried using another device on that same network?

For me it is only skipping the video's. Sometimes at random, after a cerntain amount of seconds, and sometimes after a commercial.
Not in a browser, but on an iPhone.
