how to get youtube access on my tv 3/2018?

How to watch regular youtube videos on my 2012 vizio tv now in 2018? No longer have the choice to get the 'app' of youtube-it was taken off my choices a yr or so ago.
I don't want youtube TV...just regular browsing short youtube clips. Can I send them from my
Acer pc to my smart TV wirelessly or wired?

If your 2012 Vizio TV is a "Smart" TV with a browser included, you should be able to browse to YouTube and watch whatever video you want. If your TV is not a "Smart" TV, then you should be able to connect your Acer PC to the TV via either VGA or HDMI and use the PC to browse to YouTube.

Google Chromecast, thats what I use to turn my little 32" TV into a "Smart" TV.
