How to hook ps3 to emachines laptop using hdmi

Generally laptops have hdmi as an output, not an input. So most likely no, like said above.

The only laptops that I know that have HDMI input are a few of the Alienware laptops.

Just slightly more expensive than eMachine laptops.

As I stated, Alienware laptops have HDMI input; specifically the M17x and M18x models in the current lineup. In the Tech Specs both laptops clearly lists "(1x) HDMI 1.3 Audio and Video Input".
